Black Panther Plot:

Directed by Ryan Coogler  and Joe Robert Cole
based on the Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby

What’s the story of the famous Black Panther? The Black Panther’s leadership is threatened by two foes.  The Black Panther needs help trying to defeat the enemy. Will Wakanda have a world war?

The beginning of the film moves back to 1992 in Oakland, CA.  During this flash-back, a faint old-school beat reminiscent of classic hip-hop boom bap lingers in the background as kids play basketball outside on the court. Then we see N’Jobu’s apartment (played by Sterling K. Brown), where he and his friend James are planning their next heist.

In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, Black Panther director Ryan Coogler makes an important connection to Black Panther Party and the ’90s hip-hop era by hanging up a Public Enemy poster apartment and starting the movie in Oakland, where the Black Panther Party was founded.

When we finally reach Wakanda – the fictional country African country, it’s time to hear the Afro-Caribbean sounds, which are used in the movie to make the country even more appealing.

The soundtrack is done by the famous composer Ludwig Goransso and it combines African elements with modern hip-hop sound during different episodes of the movie.
