Caswell Senior (born October 27, 1986), known professionally as Casanova, is an American Hip hop recording artist born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. In 2016, Casanova made his first original song "Don't Run" and his buzz began to build in New York, garnering interest from a number of labels. He is currently signed to Warehouse Music Group, an imprint under Roc Nation, LLC.

Casanova grew up in Flatbush, the youngest of ten from his mother and twelve from his father. He is of Panamanian and Haitian descent.[1] He began getting into the gang life at an early age and only stayed in school until the 8th grade. After years on the street, Casanova was arrested in 2006 and sentenced to prison. His cell mate in prison on Rikers Island was Rocky later to find out it was ASAP Rocky. After serving nearly 8 years, Casanova was released in the beginning 2014. He is the father of two kids, one girl and one boy. His daughter was born during his first months of incarceration and his son was born a year after his release.

Casanova happened to be in the studio with some friends from the neighborhood in early 2016. They were messing around and Casanova figured he’d take a shot at trying to put something together. The outcome, "Don’t Run”.

Upon the release of "Don't Run", the record instantly captivated the city receiving heavy radio play from DJ Self on Power 105.1. The domino effect started there and spread to many DJs in New York including those at both Power 105.1 and Hot 97. In June 2016, Casanova released the official video for "Don't Run".

Casanova was discovered by Memphis Bleek and his new imprint under Jay-Z record label Roc Nation, Warehouse Music Group. In October 2016, Casanova officially signed his deal with Warehouse/Roc Nation.

In September, Casanova released a buzz single "Line Me" as well as a freestyle to Mobb Deep's "Quiet Storm".

In 2017, Casanova releases "Don’t Run” Remix featuring Young M.A, Fabolous, Dave East & Don Q. He continues to put out music releasing "The Old 50” followed by his mixtape tape album "Be Safe Tho” featuring Chris Brown and LO on the song "OHB”.  He performed on the Party Tour with Chris Brown, 50 Cent, French Montana, Fabolous, O.T. Genasis and Kap G.
